Cheetah Digital is the world’s largest independent marketing technology company. Their mission, ‘Dedicated to Marketers’, called for more than a new look. It required rethinking how marketers interact with powerful, AI-driven tools. Despite having rich data and predictive tech under the hood, the product wasn’t yet built for the people using it day to day. DesignMap was brought in to close that gap. We helped envision a smarter, more intuitive experience—one that makes machine learning feel less like a black box and more like a trusted partner in the work,

The Ask

Cheetah Digital had the tech—AI-powered insights, predictive analytics, real-time data. But the user experience lagged behind. They needed a product that made advanced tools usable by marketers, not just data scientists. The challenge: translate AI into everyday utility without overwhelming the user.

The Process

DesignMap partnered with Cheetah to shape a 5-year out prototype of an AI-first product experience. We designed workflows where machine learning shows up with purpose: to automate, to predict, to guide. We facilitated product alignment across continents, grounded in user needs and real marketer scenarios—not just features. Our work became a north star for scaling a cohesive, AI-enabled platform.

We turned complex tech into clarity. Cheetah’s platform now puts predictive tools in the hands of marketers—no IT required.
